Sumatra Hendra Maulizar - Natural

Hendra Maulizar, a second-generation producer from Aceh, established his own processing station in Pantan Musara Village in 2010. He works directly with a small group of farmers and personally oversees the processing of coffee. In 2014, Hendra shifted his focus from producing commercial volume to specialty coffee. He invested in his own wet mill and drying infrastructure, earning international recognition through the Indonesia Cup of Excellence.

Situated in the lush and rain-soaked landscape around Lake Toba in Sumatra, his work represents a new direction for the region. He is moving beyond traditional wet-hulled coffee profiles toward washed, natural, and honey processes that emphasize clarity, balance, and the unique character of the origin.
